MEMBERSHIP FEE
Full annual subscription (Standard Membership): £15.00
These fees include a fee paid to our national organisation, the Third Age Trust, which provides a wide range of services and benefits, including liability insurance cover, and to which all u3as are affiliated.

(Reduced subscription for members joining after 1 July: £7.50)

Third Age Trust Magazine
Do you wish to receive the National u3a Third Age Trust magazine 'u3a matters', which is published 5 times per year. You will be added to the direct mailing list and your data will be shared with the company who oversees the distribution of the Trust Magazines. Please note - you can only receive the magazine if Hertford u3a is your primary u3a. Only one magazine can be issued to each address. If you pay full membership to another u3a you can receive the magazine from them.

A link to the electronic version of our Contact newsletter is sent out by email towards the end of each month. If you wish to receive a black-and-white paper copy by post, you can take out a subscription to cover the cost of printing and postage. The annual subscription is £13.00 from 1st January (12 issues) or £6.00 from 1st July. To receive a paper copy of Contact please contact the Membership Secretary.

Gift Aid

Please say YES to this Gift Aid declaration if you are eligible; it will cost you nothing but will save us money.
I want the u3a to treat all donations and subscription fees that I make from the date of this declaration, until I notify you otherwise, as Gift Aid donations. 
I understand that I must be a UK taxpayer and pay sufficient Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover the Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in each tax year, failing which it is my responsibility to pay any difference.  If my circumstances change so this is no longer true, or I wish to cancel this Declaration at any time, I will notify the Membership Secretary.

Photographs/videos may be taken at u3a events/activities and may be used in our newsletter (Contact), on the website or the private Facebook Group. These photographs/videos may include my image and understand that I can request the removal of photographs/videos that include my image by contacting the Membership Secretary. Hertford & District u3a requires members to provide their personal information so that you can be kept informed about events and activities that are offered as part of your membership. In collecting your information Hertford & District u3a will:

• Share your relevant information with event organisers and group leaders for those groups you are a member of.
• Send you general information about the Third Age Trust.

• Abide by the terms and conditions of the constitution
• Treat fellow members with respect and courtesy at all times
• Comply with and support the decisions of the elected committee
• Advise the committee of any change in your personal details
