We read the particular play in the round and spend time in discussion about the text, the characters, themes and productions we have seen. Whenever possible we try to attend a performance of the play we are reading. We have been to an Open Air production at Broxbourne Civic Centre as well as to films of National Theatre productions at Stevenage. We have been to the Globe Theatre in London on 3 or 4 occasions and greatly enjoyed the outing.

Members often choose to buy their own copies of the play being read so that they may make notes etc. Otherwise the Library has been able to supply us with copies. Obviously we pay for our own theatre tickets.
