Groups hold regular meetings. Some groups hold additonal Group Events. No events are currently scheduled for this group.

The purpose of our Group is simply to bring together like minded individuals that enjoy each other's company - individuals that want to learn something new about themselves, each other, and the human condition in general - individuals that like to take an active part in lively debate - or simply sit, listen and ponder.

Our sessions never set out to be therapeutic - but it's always a bonus when we come away from a meeting having enjoyed the experience! When it comes to levels of disclosure, this remains very much with the individual and the amount of emotional commitment they wish to give to the subject matter. I believe that we are all jointly responsible for creating and maintaining an environment wherein all the differing personalities feel safe and comfortable, so they can give of themselves as much, or as little, as they want.

Amongst our numbers are a few that are either qualified or have at least studied some form of psychology/psychotherapy content but the majority are like me and can only speak from life’s experiences – but that’s what makes the world go round, don’t you agree?

This group is run by the members, for the members and it is expected that over time we all share the burden of leading the group on a personally chosen subject. We meet on the last Friday of each month at The Leaside Community Centre, next to The Leaside Church, Leaside Walk, High Street, Ware, Herts, SG12 9BT. Doors open 13:30 with the Meeting starting at 14:00 and finishing at 16:00
