October to April inclusive – afternoon talks arranged by a small committee, offer a varied programme including plant knowledge, aspects of cultivation and maintenance; uses of gardens for leisure, wild life habitats, food production etc. Also included talks on the historical development of garden styles to aid the appreciation of gardens visited in summer.
May to September inclusive – mostly full day visits by coach, to a variety of gardens.
Study Tours are arranged to enable visits to gardens further afield.
