We are a small sociable group who ride monthly or sometimes more frequently in the summer, usually on Fridays or Wednesdays, about 20-30 miles, mostly on tarmac, travel at the speed of the slowest and take care. We usually stop for coffee or a pub and occasionally both. Ride leaders supply details of rides (start point, distance, surface, gradients, likely stops, probable duration).

Place of meeting. Usually at Hartham but sometimes the Co-op in Sele or Bengeo depending on which direction we will be travelling.

Vacancies: We always welcome new members, especially when recommended by current members of the group. Ride leaders need the contact details of new participants.

Additional points:

1. Participants must bring a spare inner tube.

2. We keep a list of members and their contact details and ride leaders need to carry a copy with them in case anyone gets lost or needs help. We regret we cannot operate any kind of rescue or retrieval system although we naturally assist each other as much as possible.

Recommendations: Wear a helmet, bring a pump, in hot weather bring water.

Short breaks: We have offered longer rides mostly on SUSTRANS routes such as Bath to Bournemouth and to the Isle of Wight camping for a few days.
